Co-Concertmasters appointed
BSO is pleased to announce the appointment of co-concertmasters Fiona Williams and Megan Driscoll. Both ladies come to the position with a wealth of musical experience and replace our previous concertmaster of 8 years who relocated to Sydney.
We would like to thank all those who applied for the position and look forward to many successful performances under their capable leadership.

Whats in a name?
The highly successful and well loved
Brisbane Sinfonia is no more, however
the good news is that this is only part
of a re-branding process that will see
the same successful orchestra in 2005
as the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra.
The renaming reflects the organic growth
of the orchestra both physically and
musically, and to celebrate this, the
orchestra was officially launched
on the 21st January 2005 by our patron,
Councillor Maureen Hayes in the QPAC Concert
Hall Foyer.
